Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Limited, more commonly known as “K” Line was founded in April 1919 with it's head office based in Tokyo, Japan. “K” Line has operated in the South African market for more than 50 years and was previously represented by third party agents until establishing their own company in South Africa called “K” Line Shipping (South Africa) (PTY) LTD. “K” Line today deploys some 537 ship’s worldwide and remains one of the major ship operators in the world.
